A Job Seeker’s Journey Opening Day 2 of the 2023 Wyoming State SHRM Conference

March 30, 2023 – The Wyoming State Council is excited to announce that Daniel Seddiqui or more commonly known as the 50 Job’s Guy will opening Day 2 of the 2023 Wyoming State SHRM Conference HR - Leading with Way with his insightful talk on the hiring process.  Daniel went on a mission to get 50 different jobs in 50 different states is 50 weeks.  His presentation will provide real world experience to help human resources professionals find more efficient and effective ways of hiring, how to display more compassion when telling a candidate NO and how to keep doors open and not burn bridges in this tight workforce and ever changing economy. 

This year’s conference is being hosted September 21^st and 22^nd, 2023 in Cheyenne by the Frontier Human Resources Association (FHRA) at Laramie County Community College.  Wyoming State SHRM Council Membership Director, Mary Augustin, SHRM-SCP stated, “we are excited to see our members from across the state come together to learn from not only the presenters, but from each other.”  Education will be focusing on ways Human Resources can Lead the Way, not only in their organization, but in their community.   

A Tour of the State Capitol and Supreme Court is on the agenda for the conference’s Thursday night activity.  State of Wyoming Representative Landon Brown will be hosting the tour of the Capitol.  Attendees can bring a guest to the evening’s activities.  It should not only be educational, but fun to see where the action happens on a legislative level.
