Volunteer Leader of the Year Nomination
The Wyoming State Council of SHRM is now accepting nominations for the Volunteer Leader of the Year.
Last year this award was presented to Kara Beech, BSBA, SHRM-CP, CTA for her volunteer work with High Desert SHRM. Beech was a founding member and first President of High Desert SHRM and has continued to serve on the Board in various capacities since it started 11 years ago.
This award recognizes a State Council or local Chapter Volunteer Leader who embodies the value of the Council and whose service has been impactful and meaningful to the mission and vision. This award will be given to an outstanding contributor as a Wyoming SHRM Chapter Leader, Committee Member, CLA Chair or Executive Committee member who dedication, teamwork, support and commitment is exceptional. This award provides the highest level of recognition from Wyoming SHRM State Council to its volunteers.
Award Criteria: The recipient will have served in a State Council or local Chapter role (CLA Director, President, CLA Chair, Committee Member or Executive Committee) in the current year. The individual shows a depth of involvement in the Council or Chapter and has provided outstanding contributions, initiative, dependability, expertise, enthusiasm and assistance in serving the HR community. Nominations are due by July 31, 2025.
